I coloured with my flex/promarkers to co-ordinate with my scene l printed off. King for a Day

This cute duck image was given out free from TSC for a limited period, so thankyou for that. I coloured it using my pro/flewmarkers and all my colours used in this creation l did it to go with the theme photo below, from The ribbon girl challenge for September.
Using Blingy gems to the ends of the swirls and down the centre of the book too to go with Through the Purple Haze challenge of Bling it up, On That Craft Place their challenge is Things with wings, and my duck certainly as wings. So using my dies for the flowers, which also coloured in, then a tag and swirly leafs for A Creative Romance challenge & Just Inpirational Challenge of dies or punches. The picture below is the theme to follow from JIC.

With ribbon down the centre of the book and added a bow for Ribbon & bows challenge over on Wags n Whiskers challenge. I embossed my smaller layer of the book with a dotty embossing folder to go with the challenge over on Passion for Promarkers. The Cutie Pie challenge their challenge this time is A cute one for the boys, & my duck is a King, therefore a boy, and l think is so cute too. Then over on Creative Fingers challenge its add a sentiment which you can see, lastly over on C.R.A.F.T challenge its paper piecing and you will see l have done 2 strips of paper piecing down the center of the book for that.

embossing

I would love to be picked to be a guest there, my materials l used are as follows:-
Beatrix potter Christmas kit, embossed the back drop with darice 12" folder which can be bought there. Then using my dies of Marianne xmas tree and poinsettia flower and leafs, both these can be bought from there as well. Then with Constructive acetate(from crafters companion), l put behind the topper to make it 3d, where l diecut a edged snowflake then put  a border strip from the cardkit down the side . Then with a star and flakes placed on the top to give that illusion. My flowers l made sure they were clearly embossed to give effectiveness. All this was place on crafters companion gold tinted cardstock and finally that was put on a basecard co-ordinatinf my colours, whch was die-cut with grand spellbinders which can be bought from crafters companion too.

I coloured in with my pro/flexmarkers, and designed my base card with coloured webbed wrap coloured in purple.then followed a back scene halloweenish. Then using my dies for borders and bats, castle and flowers. Then to finish it I stiched my ribbon in & out on the borders, added gems, then made my flower with a pearl and placed it in the tag given with the image, as you can use both to win  more from their site.
So this is my creation for their challenge on the above link.

Embossed Fan

I loved doing this project, its my first attempt too. Using cardstock shimmer gold from crafters companion l die-cut and embossed 6 fans bought from there too fromm Mariannes collection of dies, which l softly distressed all the embossed details in a pearly buff colour ink. Then using the Moreheads children cd collection, which again is from crafters companion, which l really recommend getting its so cute. I printed off the ephianys and slightly sprayed them with spray & shine that's from there, glossed them and then die-cut into the shapes required to fit onto the the panels of the fan. then printed off a single image from the cd and again glossed. Then put together with added embellishments eg pearls, crystal flowers and tassel with a co-ordinating Brad, which some of them can be bought from crafters companion too and done.
This is done to join in their challenge for September, & in hope to be picked out to be a guest there too, l would be a happy bunny.
Many thanks for popping over xxx Theresa
